Skin City
The damaging effects of pollution in metropolitan areas is a reflection of what could be happening in our skin.
Utilizing actual damaged spots in the city such as cracked sidewalks, smoke spots, and peeling paint Glossier wanted to show that the elements harming the city are also harming our skin.

Portraying the common moment and the reaction when women realize something is wrong in their skin.
THE TECHNIQUE
We printed our illustrations on vinyl adhesive paper. All the white part of the images were read as transparent so they could be filled with any background we place them on.
In action
We walked around New York City to find the most damaged spots produced by pollution to place our Ads.
